Sunshine and big crowd expected for season finale
Following a season of rain-affected weekends in 2008 MotoGP looks set to enjoy some typical Spanish sunshine for today´s end of season fiesta at Valencia.

As the 125cc riders got Sunday morning´s opening warm-up underway at the Gran Premio Parts Europe de la Comunitat Valenciana there were great conditions for riding, with blue skies and bright sunshine over the Ricardo Tormo circuit.
Last year´s raceday attendance figure at Valencia´s end of season finale was more than 130,000 and another big crowd is expected today as the likes of front row starter Dani Pedrosa and seventh placed qualifier Jorge Lorenzo push for a home victory in front of the massive home support.
Valentino Rossi faces a similar tough task to the one he had at Phillip Island three weeks ago, getting away from the fourth row again, whilst pole man Casey Stoner will be looking for one final victory before his wrist surgery planned later this week.
Today´s concluding 2008 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP races get underway at 11am, 12.15pm and 2pm respectively.
